Built an AI classification engine on the Anthropic API. Led AI-native engineering workflows using Claude Code, open-sourced at github.com/aishajv/claude-everything. Reduced deployment time by 70% (28 min to 8 min). Implemented CI/CD on GitHub Actions with ruff linting, mypy type checking, and pytest quality gates across Python monorepo microservices. Migrated from unpinned requirements.txt to Poetry, eliminating environment version drift across local, CI/CD, and production. Executed canary migration from JSON to PostgreSQL using feature toggles and dual-write pattern with zero downtime. Set up full test pyramid using pytest and factory boy. Defined the technical hiring process and helped the founder scale the engineering team.

Built and launched an EdTech platform as solo founder. FastAPI backend on Railway, Next.js frontend on Vercel, AI content generation engine for lessons, coding challenges, evaluations, and summaries using the OpenAI API with LLM-as-judge evaluation via DeepEval. Ran user research, pivoted from video to text-based platform, and shaped the roadmap for monetisation with paywalls and early adopter pricing. Used Claude Code and Cursor for AI-assisted development throughout.

Senior Backend Engineer. De-risked ~700K EUR in unbilled invoices and cut Days Sales Outstanding by 15-20 days by migrating from batch ETL to real-time Kafka sync between order management systems and NetSuite ERP. Led EKS migration of 8 ECS services with minimal downtime, documented runbooks and Datadog dashboards. Led monolith-to-microservices replatform of the financial disputes system using DDD and Kafka. Implemented the Outbox Pattern for reliability and resiliency across backend services. Conducted technical interviews and on-call operations.

Migrated native existing internal client of API Gateway to AWS Java Client framework. Implemented API throttling, API keys, and rate-limiting to prevent overload, improving reliability and enabling scalable access to critical services. Partnered with multiple teams to onboard their integrations, ensuring correct API key usage and preventing fulfillment-center APIs from being overloaded.

Outsourced as a backend engineer in a diverse team of 7+ nationalities for one of the company's leading clients, FENIX (largest E-scooter Mobility Fleet in the Middle East). Developed multiple backend services for processing real-time data from Kafka topics. Deployed the above services using CI/CD and Kubernetes. Developed REST APIs in Go Gin. Mitigated the technical bottleneck of microservices integration by implementing API Composition Design Pattern.
